Three Lives Three Worlds Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms Bracelet Tutorial

The drama ‘Three Lives Three Worlds Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms’ has gained immense popularity. Inspired by this trend, I designed a bracelet based on the original version. The top image shows the original design, while the bottom one displays my adapted version. The original design aligns more closely with the drama’s theme, though my adaptation offers an alternative style. The name is merely a nickname and not significant.

I have not yet created the original version, but it is relatively simple. It combines the Three Lives Three Worlds bracelet structure with peach blossom weaving techniques. Below is the tutorial. The main body is formed using diagonal clove hitches, while the peach blossom sections are crafted with double half hitches. For those unfamiliar with these knots, please refer to my previous tutorials.

First, view the finished bracelet image. To simplify viewing, four tutorial images have been merged into one. The image may appear small; zoom in for details or watch my video tutorial, which was published yesterday.

1. Create the buttonhole using double half hitches. Use a 120 cm core thread and a 200 cm thread for the double half hitches. After completing the buttonhole, begin the diagonal clove hitches for the main body. Start with the two center threads: the right thread serves as the axis, and the left thread forms the diagonal clove hitch.

2. Once the center diagonal clove hitches are done, use the two left threads to make diagonal clove hitches, as shown in the second step of the image. The third step involves tightening the left diagonal clove hitches, followed by the fourth step of making diagonal clove hitches on the right side using the two right threads. Refer to the images for clarity, as diagonal clove hitches can be intricate.

3. The first step in the following image shows both sides’ diagonal clove hitches completed. The second step uses the previous axis thread as the axis, with another thread forming the diagonal clove hitch. In the third image, bend the axis thread at a 90-degree angle to form a diamond shape. The fourth step involves making diagonal clove hitches on the right side, similarly bending the axis thread at a 90-degree angle.

4. Observe the diamond shape taking form. Join the two center threads with a diagonal clove hitch to complete the first diamond. The final image shows the finished bracelet with beads attached for closure. My bracelet features 29 diamonds; adjust the number based on your wrist size.
