Purple and Gold Beaded Bracelet Weaving Tutorial

Here is another purple bracelet design accented with small gold beads. The previous purple bracelets I crafted have been quite popular, confirming that the combination of purple and gold beads creates an aesthetically pleasing effect. Below is the finished piece, followed directly by the step-by-step process.

1. Prepare one 2.5m long and three 2m long strands of No. 71 braiding cord. Align one end of all strands and tie a temporary knot at the center.

2. Using the 2.5m strand, create 20 sparrow head knots around the other three strands which act as the core. Adjust the number of knots based on your bead size.

3. Bring the two ends of the sparrow head knots together. Use the two innermost strands to form a reverse diagonal weaving knot.

4. Using the two strands from the diagonal weaving knot as the core, have the adjacent strands form diagonal weaving knots around them.

5. Focus on the left side. Using the first four strands from the left as the core, form a diagonal weaving knot with the second and third strands.

6. Continuing on the left side (the right side will be addressed later), use the fourth strand from the left as the core and the third strand to form a diagonal weaving knot.

7. Use the first strand on the left as the core, and form diagonal weaving knots with the second and third strands. Repeat this process on the right side.

8. Thread the fourth and fifth strands from the left through a 3mm gold bead.

9. The two strands that passed through the bead become the weaving strands, while the adjacent two strands serve as the core.

10. Use the first strand as the core and form diagonal weaving knots with the second and third strands.

11. Again, use the first strand as the core and form a diagonal weaving knot with the second strand.

12. Use the fourth strand as the core and form diagonal weaving knots with the first, second, and third strands.

13. Repeat the same process on the right side.

14. Continue repeating the above steps. In the final step, omit the bead and directly form a diagonal weaving knot with the two center strands.

15. Use the two outermost strands as the core and form diagonal weaving knots with the remaining strands. Repeat for two additional rows.

16. Leave the outermost strands unworked. Use the second strand from each side as the core and form diagonal weaving knots with the remaining strands.

17. Repeat the same process.

18. Trim all excess strands, seal the ends, attach the end beads, and complete the bracelet.
