Today, my sister and I went for an outdoor spring outing. March is the season when peach blossoms bloom, so we visited a peach grove and took some photos of the beautiful flowers. Inspired by the scenery, we decided to create a peach blossom red cord bracelet when we returned home. This bracelet is not only thematic but also visually appealing. If you’re interested in learning how to make it, continue reading for the tutorial.
To create this peach blossom bracelet, you must master the following knots: four-strand braid, diamond knot, double connection knot, and twisted cord. If you are unfamiliar with any of these, you can find video tutorials for each knot on my homepage. Tutorial Steps: 1. Take two strands of cord and twist them at the center to form a loop for the clasp, then secure it with a diamond knot. 2. Braid a four-strand braid to your desired length, based on your wrist size. I made mine 6.5 cm, including the twisted section. Secure the end with a diamond knot. 3. Cross the strands as shown in the diagram. 4. Take another strand of cord, fold it in half, and attach it to the crossed strands using a double connection knot. 5. Attach a gold thread in the same manner. 6. Use the right gold thread to make half a double connection knot on the two green strands on the right. 7. Use the right red thread to make a double connection knot on the right green strand. After completing the knot with the red thread, use the gold thread to make another half double connection knot. This creates a gold outline for the peach blossom. Repeat the same steps on the left side. 8. Cross the green strands again. 9. Wrap the crossed section with the gold and red threads, then pull them through the loop formed. Refer to the image for clarity. 10. Tighten the green strands to form the first peach blossom. 11. Repeat the previous steps to create the remaining four peach blossoms. 12. Trim and seal the gold and red threads, then secure with a diamond knot. Continue braiding the four-strand braid, add beads, and finish the ends. The peach blossom section may seem challenging, but it is woven using double connection knots. If you are already familiar with this knot, it will be straightforward. Otherwise, practice the basic knots first, as each finished piece is composed of multiple individual knots. Let’s admire a few photos of the completed bracelet. It’s truly beautiful, isn’t it?
