Macrame Bracelet Tutorial: Step-by-Step Guide

Materials Required:
– One 40cm string

– Two 60cm strings

– Two 50cm strings

– One 15cm string

– One bead (ensure the hole accommodates three strands)

Instructions:

1. Secure a 40cm string as the base. Take one 60cm string, fold it, and attach using a Lark’s Head Knot by looping from bottom to top through the base, pulling tight. Repeat the knot from top to bottom to complete one set.

2. Create 14 Lark’s Head Knot sets. Thread a bead onto the working strings.

3. Attach another 60cm folded string and make 14 additional Lark’s Head Knot sets. Trim and seal the excess short strings.

4. Pass the two base strings through the bead and pull taut. With two strings on each side, tie 6 Lark’s Head Knot sets per side. Trim and seal ends.

5. Using two 50cm strings, braid a Four-Strand Plait around the bracelet center until half the wrist length is reached. Secure with a Snake Knot.

6. Repeat the Four-Strand Plait and Snake Knot on the opposite side.

7. Optional: Add beads to the remaining tassels or finish with Phoenix Tail Knots for decorative ends.
