30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee for Handmade Gifts

We want you and your gift recipients to absolutely love every handmade item from handmadecraftshub. If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, you may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.

Return Eligibility

Handmade items must be:

  • In original, unused condition
  • In original packaging with all tags attached
  • Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase
  • Free from customization errors not made by our artisans
  • Complete with all certificates, care instructions, and documentation

Personalized Item Policy

  • Items with customer-provided text (engraving, monogramming): Returnable only if defective
  • Items with design errors made by our artisans: Fully returnable
  • Custom-made items: Returnable only if significantly different from approved design

Non-Returnable Items

  • Personalized items with correct customer specifications
  • Custom-made gifts approved by customer
  • Gift cards or e-gift certificates
  • Items damaged due to customer misuse
  • Perishable items (food gifts, flowers)

Return Process

  1. Contact Gift Concierge: Email service@handmadecraftshub.com with your order number and reason for return
  2. Receive Return Authorization: We’ll provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and artisan return instructions
  3. Package Carefully: Use original artisan packaging when possible
  4. Include Documentation: Add RMA number and reason for return
  5. Ship Securely: Use insured, trackable shipping method
  6. Inspection and Processing: Returns inspected within 5-7 business days
  7. Refund Issued: Approved refunds processed within 7-10 business days

Refund Options

  • Full refund to original payment method
  • Store credit (valid for 12 months)
  • Exchange for different item or artisan
  • Repair or remake of defective personalized items

Return Shipping Costs

  • Customer responsible for return shipping (unless item is defective or incorrect)
  • We recommend insured shipping for valuable handmade items
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Free return shipping for defective or incorrect items

Artisan-Specific Return Policies

Some artisans may have specific return requirements:

  • Custom sizing may not be returnable
  • Made-to-order items may have restocking fees
  • Fragile items may require special return packaging
  • These will be clearly noted on product pages

Gift Returns

  • Gift recipients may return items for store credit
  • Original purchaser will not be notified of gift returns
  • Gift givers may specify return preferences

Quality Issues

Contact us immediately if your handmade item:

  • Arrives damaged during shipping
  • Has artisan craftsmanship defects
  • Significantly differs from product description
  • Has personalization errors (our mistake)

International Returns

International customers are responsible for return shipping, customs duties, and taxes. We recommend using national postal services for returns.
